  6. The IRC users companion - V 1.4

  8. In this archive, there are two files. One is an Amigaguide
  9. version and the other a text based version. (The Amigaguide
  10. one is sutible for Amigas >2.0 only who have an Amigaguide
  11. compatible viewer of sorts)
  12.  
  13. It is basically a list of IRC channels that are available
  14. to be visited along with a short discription of what each
  15. channel entails. There is also a jargon section which lists
  16. many phrases that you may come across when using IRC, E-mail,
  17. Newsgroups etc.
  18.  
  19. At the moment, the files are far from complete. The channels
  20. list HAS been updated and has now got plenty more channels
  21. to keep you amused. However, we still need more! The jargon
  22. area is still very sparse and we are loooking for comments on
  23. the file. As always, we also need as many channels as you have.
  24. As of this version, we have added a new area which contains
  25. some smilies and their discriptions. We would also be greatful
  26. to receive any contribututions for this area.
